Why this series
Longevity Cocktails is a series of recurring gatherings that bring local and international professionals into the same room for a genuine conversation. The first event was a great success, with around two dozen attendees, interesting questions and answers, networking, and lively conversations that continued long after the presentations.
This second evening focuses on a much-requested topic: women’s and men’s hormone health. More details will be posted on this page as the event develops. Like the first, this evening is created for the professionals, media, and community leaders who will shape how this field develops in Malta.
GiltHealth is convening the series, in partnership with local practitioners across nutrition, pharmacy, and lifestyle medicine, with the intention that it reflects a genuinely multidisciplinary community.

A growing conversation, with future topics shaped as it develops.
- Longevity and healthspan: living well, not just longer
- Hormone health across life stages, including perimenopause and menopause
- Gut health and the microbiome
- Liver health and metabolic conditions, including insulin resistance
- Mental health: anxiety, depression, and sleep, addressed holistically rather than through medication alone
- GLP-1 medications, and the medical and nutritional support patients need alongside them
- High-quality supplementation, methylation, and nutrient absorption, areas often underexplored in general practice
- Conditions frequently seen and often under-addressed: PCOS, endometriosis, and metabolic disease
- The upsides and limits of consumer longevity tools, body scanning and biohacking among them
- Social prescribing, with emphasis on how humans do better in company and groups
